Testimonials on the Hiawatha Big Medicine Blankets
We were asked by Pendleton to share some of the testimonials we have received
about our white buffalo shed blankets. These blankets started out of a vision
received by several people from our 7th white buffalo Hiawatha. We then began
talking to different tribes and making sure we were doing this in a good way. We
put a lot of thought and prayer into the design of the pattern. We then had an
honored grandmother write the blessing for the blankets insert card. SWPA
members pick up the hair. It is cleaned when necessary. We pray before, during,
and after the making of these white buffalo shed blankets. We have received
prayers and blessings from several nations during the making of these blankets.
These are very special blankets because of the white buffalo shed, and also
because of all the prayers that have been put into them. Pendleton Woolen Mills,
through Paul Hait of Peace Partners, has made this same blanket pattern without
the bison shed. It is selling through Pendleton’s retailers and catalog with a
1% royalty from the sales going to Peace Partners, and a 1% royalty going to the
SWPA for the bison.
We are sorry for any confusion this may have caused. If you bought a non-shed
blanket by mistake, you can return it to Pendleton. Pendleton has taken action
on this to make sure that their offices and staff tell people when they make a
purchase that this is not the blanket containing the white bison shed.
Blessings and my thanks for your understanding,
Cynthia

When Miracle Moon was born a truly wonderful prophecy was fulfilled. When
the other white buffalo were born, the creators sign promised healing the hoops
of all nations. These white buffalo were left to struggle for life and then
lifted up and carried to Oregon to live in a place of plenty. Then 6 more white
buffalo were born to confirm that the truth was told and shared with the world.
It is up to all who believe that the sweat and the blood and the prayers of our
ancestors will make manifest their dreams for us.
We need to support these buffalo and the people who are the spiritual as well as
physical caretakers. The medicine blankets designed for the 100th anniversary of
the Pendleton Company mark good years of embracing our people with warmth and
Native design. Please add your support by buying the "Hiawatha Big Medicine
Blanket" and provide a blessing for you and your family. Every tribe and two
legged should help provide to sustain the life of this prophecy and bring

Hello Cynthia
Greetings from S.D. I have two testimonials to pass on as they have came to me.
1 - Chief Deputy Sheriff Tom Wilts of the Meade County Sheriff’s Dept. About 6
months ago his wife was told she had Cancer; he asked me for some Sacred White
Buffalo Hair which I provided to them [thanks to you]. His wife went thru chemo
and never lost a hair on her head. She is now Cancer free and she continues to
wear it in her bag. They believe strongly in the healing powers of the hair on
their body. The Doctors can’t explain what happened. Her Niece had a very rare
blood disease that was killing her; we sent some hair to her. She has been
wearing it also and her Doctors don’t understand it but the killing Disease has
disappeared she still has a blood disease but not the killing one.
2—John Wayne’s Movie, the Cowboys. Al Barker who played singing Fats who is a
very good friend of ours. He is part Indian and has gone thru the sweats and the
whole gauntlet. I gave him and his wife both some for their pouch. They believe
very strongly in the hair and the SACRED WHITE BUFFALO. Anyway they left my home
going back to California Where he is a Sargeant on the San Bernardino Sheriff’s
Dept. He received a call from Al; his Father was in the Hospital almost in a
coma and asked I send him some to put on his father’s body as he was out in
another world with drugs they
Had him on [Diabetic Coma 600+ Blood sugars]. He received the hair and
immediately put it on his father’s body and shortly thereafter he came out of it
and that afternoon he felt like his old self and wanted to go home. Al has him
in convalescing home recuperating; he has taped some hair to the back of his
wrist watch so it would be with him day and night.
I have told both of these deputy Sheriffs if they believe the SACRED BUFFALO
HAIR worked Miracles we need a donation to help feed the Buffalo. I love my big
medicine blanket haven’t been in bed for over a week due to these 4 broken ribs.
It is beautiful. Derreld
"Five years ago I was told by my Peace Partner, Randy Prouty about 7 White
Buffalo living outside of Flagstaff, AZ up at the base of SPIRIT MOUNTAIN.
I flew down to Phoenix and met Randy and we drove up to see these magnificent
animals. After three days of discussions with the owners, Dena and Jim Reilly,
it was clear the animals needed to be relocated to a lower elevation where the
weather conditions, available running water, and feed sources were easier to
live with and more available. After a lot of relocation difficulties in moving
them to Oregon, the now 11 White Buffalo, plus our three new 2011 White babies,
are now living in wonderful quarters in Bend, Oregon. In order to properly
support these beautiful miracles, we needed to find a way to generate a reliable
income source. I proposed that we take their annual shed and see if I could talk
Pendleton Woolen Mills into manufacturing, out of their shed, what we now call
HIAWATHA BIG MEDICINE BLANKETS'. Working closely with Pendleton's Production
Manager and Art Director we came up with a blanket design that has been
extremely well received. Since the animals cannot be sold for meat, it became
clear that the Shed was the best way to support them, provided Pendleton would
go along with the idea. Fortunately they saw the merits of the idea of
integrating their annual shed into the blanket. At long last, the Buffalo
now have a steady means of support thru the selling of the blankets. I
feel very fortunate to have played a roll in insuring the Health and Welfare of
these magnificent animals. Their annual shed will guarantee that they will be
able to propagate and thrive in the years to come. Thanks to the unselfish and
tireless hard work and personal financial sacrifice of Cynthia and Charles
Button, and their 501c3 tax exempt Sacred World Peace Alliance Foundation that
now owns the Buffalo, it is clear how these animals are going to survive and
thrive. The White Buffalo shed will be their economic support income in
the years ahead." Paul W. Hait, Peace Partner Co-Founder.

Because of the religious significance to the plains Indians I send the first
blanket to the Lakota at Saint Joseph's Indian schools. What wonderful gifts to
all! I have kept one for myself. Mine is number 12 blanket.
Vince W.
I received my blanket and it is awesome. The White Buffalo has been a spirit
totem of mine for the past few years. A friend of mine,' Red Basket' called and
said 'Songbird, Spirit told me to tell you, you have to get this blanket'. She
would have got it for me but she could not afford to. It has a lot of energy for
me. I was very pleased with the green on one side and cream color on the other
side. I was just gifted a pipe two months ago and I have been going to pipe
ceremony’s for the past few years so this blanket is the life I am living. I am
very proud to have it. Blessings, Songbird
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Button,
What a wonderful sight to my eyes, and a great feeling to my heart and soul. I
am very honored to know the Sacred White Buffaloes are cared for, and loved by
both you and your wife. Watching the Buffalo walk up to your wife and seeing the
hugs and love she gives them are so awesome. I know buffaloes could be a very
dangerous animal and yet they walk up to her like a pet dog; this to me shows
that she has cared and respected the buffaloes.
As a Native American Indian, from the Warm Springs Indian Reservation, and
working at the Madras High School which is named after the White Buffalo makes
this such a unique setting. And sharing with our youth makes this such a
pleasant feeling. Seeing how many Buffalo you two are caring for and raising
them takes a lot of time. When I asked how you are affording to care and feed
the herd it had taken my heart by surprise.
When you shared how you two came up with the idea of Pendleton blankets with
some of the white Buffalo hair inter woven into the blanket; this had me feeling
like I really would like to get a blanket from you to help feed the Buffalo. I
truly know that it takes very special people to care for such a Sacred Animal.
When you had gifted me a little of the white Buffalo hair; when I got home I had
immediately put in my medicine bag. There are not many people who would take up
so much time to care as you two do. As many people throughout the world look at
the white buffalo, and the tigers, lions and other animals of the nature are
very sacred animals. The greatest thing is you are willing to share them with
whoever wants to go visit the ranch. Although I feel there should be invitation
only.

Dear One:
As the White Buffalo came to me in a stone over 20 years ago, this blanket has
come to me through you as a token to always remember that Spirit moves through
these wonderful creatures to help all of man-kind....to find that peace within
so that it will flow outward through to the entire planet. This blanket is one
of my most precious items and as others have mentioned to me a true legend has
been captured in this beautiful work of art....Thank you Cynthia for all that
you do....Your spirit is joined with the Blessed Ones.... Love...Blessings.

Good Morning,
Just a note to let you know we received our beautiful/precious blanket this
morning. Thanks so much for taking good care of us! We will treasure this
special blanket all of our lives. Thanks for making it available and all of the
hard work it took by so many to ensure the safety of the white buffalo. God

Cyn, I decided to order 4, so you should have the credit card payment by now and
all ship to me. I have 2 to give as gifts and you can make the cards for those
out to Joe and George. My daughters and i will love to come and visit, they are
both 15 and from China by birth and adoption, the native legends are something
they know little of, but they are going to bond with the white buffalo for
certain. I will watch for you notice of dates so we don't miss this majestic
event. I am honored to give to your work, and the healing that will come from
these blankets will go far and wide. Let me know when they are on the way.
Thanks again. "We are not human beings seeking a spiritual experience; we are

Dear Cynthia and Paul: I received our beautiful blanket within 2 days of our
phone conversation. I have since read your website and Paul's bio. I've passed
on the information to my friends and loved ones. It was a real pleasure to have
spoken with both of you last week; I was the one who received the last blanket,
whose husband had recently been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. He was very
touched when it arrived and carefully put in on our bed. It is so soft and
beautiful. I was writing to thank you. I had been having severe back pain for 3
weeks due to a bad sprain. I tried chiropractic, massage, ibuprofen, muscle
relaxants, pain medicine, stretching, heat and ice. The pain was always there.
Then the blanket arrived. The first night I slept well with it and was
comfortable. The second night my back pain worsened badly and the pain kept me
up all night. By the next afternoon (yesterday) the pain began to subside. Last
night I slept solidly all through the night. This morning my back pain is
completely GONE! I thought you'd like to know. Bless you all and thank you!
Happy Holidays!
Love, Lorraine and Henry
Hello there to all at the SWPA!
My name is Kim-malou Worthington and i live in the UK. I am inquiring about the
Beautiful Sacred Hiawatha medicine blanket. After searching for a couple of
hours on the internet today looking for a medicine blanket to use in ceremony
and prayer, i came across the Pendleton website and it was there, The beautiful
Pendleton big medicine blanket, that the design was just right in every way for
what i was looking for...... then after a little more research to see if there
was a strong link with this company and the Indigenous peoples of America I came
across a link to telling me about SWPA and that you also was selling this
blanket but also entwining the Sacred white Buffalo hair into them while also
raising funds for the White Buffalo sanctuary....Well the feeling i felt inside
was overwhelming, and i just knew it would be such a Blessing and Honor to be
blessed with one of the Sacred blankets for prayer and ceremony.
I have phoned you a couple of times in America but it is just the answer phone.
I carry the White Buffalo spirit in my heart and would be deeply humbled and
honored to wear the Medicine.
Would you please let me know if you have any left and the cost of shipping of
the blanket to the UK. Thank you,
Eternal Beauty & Blessings,
Kim-malou ~~~|~~~
I wanted to contribute a testimonial about the Hiawatha White Buffalo blankets
and encourage folks to share this info to their Facebook page. I used one of
these beautiful blankets at an important spiritual ceremony in Hawaii this
January. The beautiful design truly raised the vibration of our ceremony. Folks
placed items that they wanted to spiritually charge into the center of the
blanket during the ceremony. It was very moving and I will hang my blanket on
the wall in a place of honor in my home. Thank you Cynthia for your beautiful
and inspired design,. Kara
These blankets are such a blessing there aren't words to express the healing
power from them with then hair of the white buffalo.......they are quiet
powerful......even if you cannot feel the healing energy these are
priceless......an so beautiful........well worth it ........with love........

Good day my name is Glen my medicine name is White Hart given to me by a rite of
passage vision quest in Wales I consider myself Celtic, the facilitator was
taught by Sun Bear my grandmother told me she had Red Indian ancestors which I
believe were Lakota. I had a vision of a place a sacred place a center i found
myself on a cliff overlooking it an eagle was flying and my guide revealed this
strange land to me and told me to follow my heart that was a while back and
since then, I have a power animal that just appears in dreams saying follow me
follow the white Hart, so i look for signs that lead the way, I am an artist who
is inspired by nature and the elements earth air fire and water, I was inspired
to learn healing from my grandmother who saved me when I was 3 from being badly
scolded, I have had a difficult and often solitary path, which is ok as it has
helped me connect to our mother earth and despite misgivings I have taken up the
mantle as an earth healing Shaman still training still learning, I have battled
illness and won, a healer i saw used to travel to Sedona and went to see the is
on she came back with some White Bison Hair and I asked if we could use this for
my book will forward on to the session we did and I believe it started a very
powerful healing process > and a new journey for myself, this healer spoke of a
center of healing that had connection with an Eagle and the 4 directions,
recently I have encountered 2 white turtle doves a white cat and a white
feather, seems silly as I live in a grimy London city of concrete, but I
searched the internet for signs of white animals and found a news article on
miracle calf, found your web site and was astounded at your determination to
create a sanctuary for sacred animals, all I know right now is i feel compelled
to contact you and honor your work, and wish I could offer more than words. My
mind and Heart reach out to you as I listen to a beautiful Lakota Peyote Song,
Buffalo Medicine Woman must be smiling at you! My wish at this time is to reach
out and make a contact with the good folk who are inspired to your cause.
As a woman of first nations blood, a grandmother on the Turtle Island
Grandmothers Council, and being called by spirit as a voice for this buffalo
herd, I feel that the White Buffalo shed in the Pendleton blankets is a beauty
FULL way for the Buffalo to support themselves. Just like a sheep herd, the hair
shed is weaved into blankets that keep people warm as well as supporting this
growing herd’s financial stability. In an agreement between our brother and
sister Buffalo nation and the two legged nation, they continue to share
themselves with the two legged nation with their shed to keep the people warm.
All life is sacred to the Great Spirit, honoring one another us our
responsibility for the continuation of all beings right to surthrive and exist
on our Earth Mother. It is important to remember that these buffalo cannot roam
the Earth like they once could before times changed and the only way to ensure
their sustainability is through raising money that directly goes to care for the
herd. In Gratitude, Grandmother Redhawk Quoting a Biologist her own words; As a
biologist I just wanted to say that genetically it is impossible to create a
recessive dominant without 2 recessive homozygous parents. It would take a lot
of lab tinkering to do this as well as access to the ones that have been born in
nature. Believe me when I tell ya darlin - it’s a hec of a lot easier to let
nature create it!!
Pasit Lovinhugs Peters so sacred and many have good reason's / purposes to be

Thank You for providing the piece of white buffalo hair from Mystic Moon. As you
know, I am a believer and somewhat practitioner in various aspects of Native
American philosophies and medicine. I have used a number of herbs for various
related conditions, I believe in the use of sage for purification and I believe
in the strength of the buffalo and the spirit of the buffalo.
Upon my return to California from South Dakota, I had to take my father to the
hospital. He was in pretty bad condition and it took a while for the doctors to
figure out what was going on with him. It turns out that his blood sugar was
over 600 and his sodium and other electrolyte levels were extremely
(dangerously) low. These chemical imbalances and medical use of morphine for
pain relief caused his mind to be scrambled.
After about a week in the hospital, he was transferred to
convalescent/rehabilitation care. He continued to be in a state of mental
confusion. There were times that I wasn't sure he even knew who I was when I was
there. One night I took a large piece of the white buffalo hair, placed it on
his forehead and held it under the palm of my hand. I could feel the heat from
the spirit of the buffalo. I said a prayer to the Great Spirit, asking the
creator to send healing through the power of the white buffalo. Pop seemed to
become calmer and more mentally stable within minutes. It was truly amazing. To
continue to give him strength, I took a small piece of the hair and taped it
under his watchband so the hair was touching his skin, but would not fall off. I
was afraid staff might take away a larger amount, not knowing the significance.
Two days passed and he seemed to be getting stronger and going more mental
clarity. I talked to him about the power of the White Buffalo. He is a believer
in many of the Native American Customs. I again used a piece of the hair and
held it on his forehead with my hand. During this occasion, the spirit was so
strong; I had to lift my hand up because of the extreme heat. The palm of my
hand literally felt like I had put it against a burning candle or match. After
that, he laid in bed and clearly recited stories he could remember from his
reading of the bible. He was able to restate the stories with great clarity.
He has been in the rehabilitative care facility for almost five days now. He
continues to get physically stronger and it seems as though with time, he will
recover and be able to return home. I believe in the strength and power in the
spirit of the white Buffalo.
Thank You for providing me and my father with a means of healing.

DNA LAB
Hello Cynthia,
. Yes, I used to work at Stormont Laboratories. We blood typed and DNA typed
Miracle Moon to prove that she did not have any cattle blood or marker in her.
Proving that she was one of the first (in a long time) WHITE bison! We tested
almost off the Jim and Dena’s breeding stock and offspring. And every time
someone would have doubts that they were purebred bison Dena would say, “Pull a
hair sample and send it to the lab! Then you will know.” I’m happy to hear that
they are all doing well. They will always hold a special place in my heart. I
love to share my white bison story with anyone who will listen. Stormont
Laboratories went out of business in 2005 and I was able to get a job here at
the University of California, Davis late in 2004. I am not one of the scientists
but I still love my job and feel what we are able to do to maintain the
integrity of breeds is so important. I will visit your web-site to get updates
on the whites (as I call them). :0)
